The traditional pathos variety is golden pathos also commonly known as devil's ivy, it features heart-shaped mid-green foliage splashed in creamy gold. If you grow this variety up a totem & give it lots of light & warmth, you’ll find the leaves can grow quite large. In fact, outdoors in frost-free areas, the leaves can reach 12" wide or more. Pathos requires no special care indoors; it tolerates low light (but grows well in medium- & high-light spots, as well), low humidity, & the occasional missed watering. That said, pathos prefers moist (but not wet or saturated) soil, so it's best to water it when the top " or so of the potting mix is dry. Not only is this an extremely easy to grow house plant, pathos also functions as a living air purifier making it ideal for home & office settings.
